Install weatherboards up to 52% faster in 4 easy steps

Step 1: Insert

At approximately one-third of your weatherboards overall length from either end, place each CladMate’s blade under the bottom edge of the weatherboard and slide upward.

Step 2: Engage

Lift the handle for a snug fit. Don’t over tighten, as it can cause the clamp to pull away from the wall.

Step 3: Set

Carefully lower your next weatherboard into CladMate’s slots.

Step 4: Nail

Fix weatherboard as per manufacturer’s recommendations. Remove both CladMates and repeat steps 1 through 4 as you work upward to the top of the wall.

Extra pair of hands. Glad I bought them.

I don't take the time for reviews, however this product works great. I do a sizable amount of weatherboards every year. These have allowed me to work on my own for almost all of that. These allow me to stay uniform and also have hands free to nail when I'm on the ladders. At my company we move fast and have to get a lot of stuff done in a very short time. The clamps do not damage the weatherboards and definitely make the job go much faster. I highly recommend this product if you are carpenter or even a DIY'er.

Saves labor, makes one man job easy, gives great results

I'm a professional contractor and I work solo. These work great and have paid for themselves repeatedly. They seemed pricey at first, but now I have no need for a 2nd guy when doing weatherboards. I still snap lines every 8 or so boards due to inconsistencies in the weatherboards that are unavoidable. I can also install weatherboards up much higher before I need to scaffold up. If you are doing weatherboards, in my mind these are a must have tool.

Makes weatherboards a breeze!!!

While it may seem a bit pricey, I would not have been able to complete my weatherboard job without it. Installing a 2 story house along with 4 meter long James Hardie Linea and working off of ladders, these CladMate clamps were a life saver. They acted as my second and third hands and were able to fully support the 4 meter piece with no other help while perfectly spacing each row. Simply level the first course and continue on with these clamps and you will be done in no time. Huge time saver. Looking forward to re-doing the house I am purchasing now and using these again.

Huge time saver for one-man application of weatherboards

Very valuable and a huge time saver. A must for one-man application. Holds any length in position while you make final adjustments and nail it fast. Easily handles 4 meter long and 16mm thick weatherboards. A great tool. I learned about these clamps from a YouTube video. It would be good for the manufacturer to have a video on the web page where it is sold so first-time users like me understood how to use it.

Always install weatherboards with them

I’ve used these 5 times now and would never put on weatherboards on without them. They’re worth every penny and you pay them off rapidly in the labour you save. They are solidly built. Just make sure you check every time to ensure you have pushed them all the way up and that they haven’t been pushed down when sliding in the weatherboard on.
